Dr. Layle attended Wayne State University School of Medicine for her Medical Degree, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. She then served as a Medical Officer in the U.S. Navy for 8 years where she cared for Navy and Marine Corps active duty and dependents across the world. She returned to civilian practice working in a variety of primary care clinical settings prior to beginning her career in clinical research. As a Principal Investigator, Dr. Layle’s areas of research expertise include Obesity, Chronic Pain, Osteoarthritis, Migraine, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, and Vaccine trials. Dr. Layle joined the Artemis Research team in 2012.
