Anxiety is one of the most common mental health disorders in the United States. Although occasional anxieties are an expected part of life, for individuals suffering from an anxiety disorder that anxiety does not dissipate and can worsen over time.
Classified by extreme and pervasive fear or worry, anxiety disorders can interfere with daily activities such as school work, job performance, and personal relationships. Anxiety disorders can cause physical symptoms including trouble falling asleep or frequent waking. Symptoms can also manifest in headaches, irritability, muscle tension, chest tightness, fatigue, frequent bathroom use, hot flashes, and nausea. These mental health disorders are highly treatable, yet only around one-third of individuals seek treatment.
We at Artemis Institute for Clinical Research conduct clinical trials for investigative medications for the treatment of anxiety disorders. Qualified research participants will receive financial compensation for their time and travel, study-related medical and psychological evaluations, and the investigative study medication at no cost. Help advance medicine and medical research through participating in our clinical trial!
