Alzheimer's Disease - Artemis Institute for Clinical Research

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of age related dementia, affecting as many as 5.3 million Americans and accounting for up to 80% of dementia cases. A progressive brain disease, Alzheimer’s disease targets parts of the brain destroying brain cells, causing memory loss, and creating problems with thinking and behavior.

Early stages of Alzheimer’s often manifests in forgetting recent events or conversations. As the disease progresses, sufferers develop severe memory impairment and lose the ability to carry out regular everyday tasks. Although there is no cure, current treatments combine medication with supportive services can help stabilize and even improve life for Alzheimer’s disease sufferers.

We at Artemis Institute for Clinical Research conduct clinical trials for investigative medications for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Qualified research participants will receive financial compensation for their time and travel, study related medical and psychological evaluations by our doctors, and the investigative study medication at no cost. Doctor's Office Visit

The first office visit will consist of study related medical and/or psychological exams and an in-depth review of the study protocol, expectations, and procedures. During your in person office visit, you will begin the process for enrolling in the clinical trial and sign a study consent form.

You will have the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns with your doctor and coordinate future visits. Throughout the study process, you will have direct and continued contact with our doctors and medical professionals to ensure your comfort and safety during the trial. You will receive compensation for your participation, no-cost medical exams, as well as the investigative medication, vaccination, testing, treatment, or device at no cost.
