“Each winner provides all of us inspiration and optimism. It is evident that San Diego has a competent new generation of business leaders waiting in the wings,” commented Barb Chodos, SDBJ President. We are proud to introduce these leaders and we are sure you will be reading more about each one of them in the future.”
Brittany Heath is the director of operations for the Artemis Institute for Clinical Research. Her biggest achievement this past year was building and implementing a LMS which provides consistent, real-time training. In addition, she was able to build a successful middle management layer, ensuring industry-knowledge and redundancy. She also successfully implemented both e-source/e-regulatory that allows Artemis to perform clinical trials virtually, which is a tremendous advancement in their industry. Artemis can now easily adapt to the continuous changes due to the pandemic, continue to advance medicine, and maintain patient safety.
“Brittany is one of the best natural leaders I have ever worked with. I am consistently impressed by her tenacity and her ability to get things done while constantly ensuring her people are engaged and listened to. Brittany has created a culture of continuous learning that has allowed her to make a tremendous impact on her team and the community Artemis serves each and every day,” commented Alexandra Gerritsen, President/COO of Artemis Institute for Clinical Research.
